40 Years with Amcanu

It is with great pleasure that this month we celebrate Paul Bach’s 40th year with Amcanu.

Paul was recruited straight from school by our founder Spencer Davies OBE in 1976. Spencer recalls meeting Paul: “A school teacher I knew contacted me and said they had a boy looking for a job. Paul came to see me with shoulder-length hair and no jacket – I told him to get his hair cut and come into work the following Monday. He arrived, having had just an inch cut of the bottom of his hair … and that was Paul!”

Despite the cheeky start, Paul has gone on to be a key member of the Amcanu family, Spencer continues: “I’m so proud of Paul and all he has become. He has been and still is a fantastic employee. Whatever difficulties he’s had to face in life he maintains a brilliant attitude and has a heart of gold.”
