The ability to design something bespoke is central to what we do. Whether creating a solution from scratch or testing existing designs for manufacturing feasibility, our experienced team are always ready to think creatively.

We believe customised enclosure design is a pretty crucial part of product development for our customers … not that we’re biased or anything!

Our sound attenuated enclosures form the visible exterior of our customers’ products. They need to be highly functional, as well as robust, attractive and easy to use.

Our industrial design team use the very latest 3D modelling software to spec out the custom features that will optimise the equipment housed in any enclosure.

For example, we design:

• Airflows to allow sufficient ambient temperature clearances, improve attenuation levels and ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Stackable units, providing a solution to storing enclosures in locations where space is at a premium. 
• Hinges, locks, bolts and fittings, that are only accessible from inside the enclosure. This improves the overall aesthetics and makes unauthorised access harder.
• Industrial enclosures that stay balanced when lifted. Our enclosures are all designed to lift within 5° of plumb – with or without fuel. Smaller enclosures are designed around a single-point lifting hoist attached to a certified lifting frame. Larger enclosures are designed with 4-point lifting attached to the structural frame.

We’re particularly good at solving tricky problems. We’ve recently designed a technology enclosure that can be sub-assembled prior to main assembly for a customer in advanced manufacturing (AM).

Their end users are all over the world, and this way of working allows them to transport sub-assembled sections to suit their customers’ build programmes.
